講演概要

「研究開発のためのデータの適法な収集・提供・利用」は法的には、「社会に存在するデータをどのように適法に収集し、研究開発のために利用するか」、「収集・加工等したデータをどのような契約条件で提供・公開するか」、「データを利活用して得られた成果（データ、論文、アルゴリズム、プログラム、パラメータなど）は誰のもので、誰がどの範囲で利活用できるのか」と整理することができます。本講演では、研究開発のためのデータの収集・提供・利用の全体像について、重要な点については若干の深堀をしながら俯瞰的に説明をする予定です。

　Overview of Database Research in China

講演概要

In this talk, I will brief introduce the CCF TCDB(Technical Committee on Database), including its organization, activities and main events. I will also summarize database research in China in past 10 years, including database research in Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, Ant Financial, etc. Bu this chance, I will also introduce some research topics in my lab. Toward the future, a deeper collaboration with Japanese colleagues is expected. I will propose some possible way to achieve this target.

講演者概要

Bios, Dr. Xiaoyong DU is a full professor of School of Information, Renmin University of China. He is also the director of Key Laboratory of Data Engineering and Knowledge Engineering, MOE, China. He got his PhD degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology 1997. He was the Dean of School of Information from 2004-2016. Prof. Du had coauthored many papers in important international conferences and journals in database area, including VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, etc. He won the best paper of SDM 2010. He is now servicing as Chair of CCF Technical Committee on Database (TCDB), and Director of CCF Working Committee on Education.
